CORBA’s newest trail system, River Doc Trails, in Rice Lake are nearing completion and are ready for use by all trail users. We still have a few things to do to “complete” the trails and we are asking for help from the trail user community.
The parking area for the trail head is now in, but we still need to pay for it. “River Doc” Dr. Rod Olson and his wife, Carol, have not only provided considerable acreage for the creation of the River Doc Trails, but they have also fronted the cost of the parking area. The parking area is an important step toward making the trails accessible to the community.
The Olsons have already been so generous toward this endeavor that it is CORBA’s desire to reimburse Rod and Carol for the cost of the parking area through this special fundraising effort.
CORBA is also looking to raise a little extra to provide proper signage, including a trailhead kiosk and trail markers. Please take a minute to add your contribution to a host of others who have made River Doc Trails possible.
For all of those who donate, your name will be added to a special appreciation plaque that will be displayed at the trail head kiosk.
CORBA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donations to CORBA are tax deductible!
