We will set up 5K and 10K courses for 2023. You can choose your distance. Course information will be available as we get closer to the event dates.
We will set up the course (approximately 5K) which will include groomed trails at Lowes Creek County Park. You can choose to enter into the categories of 1, 2, 3, or 4 laps. Tires must be 3.5” or larger. Course information will be available as we get closer to the event dates.
Cross Country Ski
We will set up a ski course (approximately 5K) that will allow you to either do skate skiing or classic. Course information will be available as we get closer to the event dates.
Double or Triple Snowball
Do it all. This can be any combination of two or all three race types (ski, snowshoe, and fat bike). You will receive a special award for completing either the Double or Triple Snowball Challenge with any distances for each discipline. The male and female who completes the Triple Snow ball that totals the highest distance (with the fastest combined times) will be crowned as the King and Queen of Powder Keg 2023.
Important Registration Instructions for Double and Triple Snowball Participants:
For the Double or Triple Snowball, you will need to register separately for each event that you want to participate in. There will be an additional $10 registration fee for each additional event. So, register for your first event normally, without a discount code. Then, register for the next events using the discount code “MultiEvent” and $20 will be deducted from those registrations.

Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, Feb 17th at Modicum Brewing from 5-8PM or before the race on Saturday.
