The Adventure Playground

A beginner-friendly, fenced-in obstacle course for new riders of all ages

Location: Lowes Creek County Park

Located just inside the Eastside entrance to Lowes Creek County Park, behind the Eau Claire County Expo Center off Lorch Avenue, is the Adventure Playground – a fun beginner bike skills area featuring small ramps, banked turns, rock gardens, dirt rollers, and more for all ages. The space opened in the summer of 2024 thanks to a partnership between the 906 Adventure Team, CORBA (Community for Outdoor Recreation, Biking, and Adventure), and Eau Claire County Parks and Forest. In addition to the riding loop, it features picnic tables and a split-rail fence around the whole thing. Restrooms are just across the grass parking area at the County Expo Grounds. It’s all phase one of the new Lowes Creek Bike Park, an ongoing project to build a more challenging and larger build on the park’s Westside!
