Phil grew up on the north side of Eau Claire and left home to attend UW-Madison. While earning a degree in landscape architecture, he met his now-wife and set roots in the Madison Area for 21 years. They recently moved their family back to Eau Claire to be closer to extended family and, in large part, to engage with a smaller community experiencing some really fun and exciting growth. Phill is passionate about cycling and enjoys mountain, gravel, road, commuting, and winter fat biking. His wife Alissa and two daughters enjoy family rides around our neighborhood, local trails, and downtown Eau Claire. He feels the more trips that can be made by bike the better, and encourages cycling among his family and friends for entertainment, transportation, and health. He is excited to volunteer his time and energy to be part of this great organization that profoundly impacts our community.

Previously Phil has been a Town of Middleton Parks Commissioner and City of Monona Facilities Committee member.
