Meeting and Election Wednesday March 26
Brand New CORBA Website to Debut at Annual Meeting as a Part of Annual Presentation on March 26
You may notice there’s a “Coming Soon” message at CorbaTrails.org the last week or two. That’s because we’re debuting the brand new CORBA website and its many features live at the Annual Meeting & Elections at Brickhouse Pub & Grub this Wednesday, March 26 at 6:30pm. The site includes more info, resources, photos, videos, and good vibes than ever before including info on all our single-track systems, plus gravel routes, winter trails, info for beginners, projects, and way more. It was all built by our friend and supporter, Volume One.
Showing the new site will be part of a brief annual presentation by outgoing President Jon Olstadt and current Vice President Nick Meyer about the year behind and the year ahead. Come down to check it all out, have a beer, and vote for the board of directors (more info below) at our annual meeting!
Board of Directors Candidate Slate Revealed + Election and Annual Meeting
This past year CORBA has continued some great momentum with events, projects, fundraising, and more. Along the way we’ve talked about opportunities to join the CORBA Board of Directors. Many folks reached out to learn more, and today we’re happy to share a slate of excellent candidates who stepped forward. While these candidates below are listed today, technically at the election others may nominate themselves or run a write-in campaign at that time.
ARE YOU A MEMBER? COME VOTE!
All active members of CORBA are invited to vote in our board elections at the annual meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 26 at Brickhouse Pub & Grub (former Bonnie’s Labor Temple) in their lower meeting room. Many dozens of folks often turn out for these, and we’d love to have as many members as possible there to hear about the year and vote. The vote will be among the first things on the agenda for those who can’t stay. (With this moved back date, we will combine the March and April meetings, thus skipping the April 9 meeting).
