We’ve decided to change things up a bit and offer new courses for the Fall Back Blast Trail Run. For those who want a shorter distance, we are now offering a 5K option. New to running, or to trail running in particular? This a great distance to see what all of the fuss is about! The 10K option offers even more trail goodness. But if you are looking for the ultimate tour of all that Lowes Creek has to offer, the new 25K loop is what you need! This loop takes you on every single-track trail in the park! And the lucky 50K runners get to run the loop twice!
Yes, we know…this 25K Course Map can look a bit confusing and daunting, especially if you are not familiar with Lowes Creek (and even if you are). On race day, the course will be well-marked and will run very well. Until then, please use the link below for a course description that will help guide you through it.

We reserve the right to make changes to the event or cancel it entirely if weather conditions pose a risk to racers or volunteers. All entry fees are non-refundable. The race course will close at 5pm for the safety of all participants and volunteers.* We use the word “Medal” to indicate the finisher recognition item – from the beginning this race has chosen to provide finishers with something with a purpose rather than a standard medal. The meaning behind this is to give participants something that they can use rather than something that hangs on a hook or sits in a drawer. Past items have included a Nite Ize carabiner/bottle opener, a printed cowbell and an aluminum water bottle with sticker.
